Nantong Stalford International School [NTSIS] successfully held the International Future Business Leaders Challenge [IFBLC]. The competition aims to inspire students to become future leaders in a global society and enhance their leadership skill.
As a school committed to quality education, NTSIS has provided the IFBLC platform, allowing students to analyse their surroundings with business mindset, engage in practical business training activities, expand business knowledge, understand the real life business environment, establish a positive perspective on wealth and values, and explore their future career paths.
Students were divided into groups, with each member assigned roles based on their strengths. Each group named their companies, identified their products, designed products, and anticipated potential challenges the products might face upon launch. Throughout the competition, students actively participated in discussions, and experiments to improve their business. The competition helped improve product design, operations, sales, and other aspects of each company. In the simulated business operations, students closely monitored changes in their company’s product sales and addressed various operational issues.
After the activity, students reflected on their experiences, evaluating their team’s strengths and weaknesses. This competition allowed students to cultivate leadership experience, understand business principles, promote a global perspective, demonstrate strong self-confidence, and foster communication and teamwork skills. It helped them explore future career opportunities, stimulated enthusiasm and goals for future study and career.
