With much enthusiasm, the first Stalford Cup Swimming competition was held. Students swimmers and spectators gathered in the indoor swimming pool with joy to witness this exciting event!

The swimming competition included breaststroke, freestyle, mixed relay and other events, and every participant was full of confidence. All of them were eager to stretch their muscles and did enough warm-up exercises before showing off their skills in the cool water.

During the competition, the students went all out and tried their best. Even those who are new to the sports are not afraid to try. In the sparkling water, the race to the finish line is a race of speed and willpower. Paddling, exchange of breath, and powering swimmers who drew beautiful ripples from their movement, every student tried their best to reach their goals!

Whistle, cheer, claps, chatter, swish, splash, … A vibrant symphony of voices and water rose and fell. The atmosphere was warm and supportive, and the roar from the cheering crowd brought infinite power to the contestants. Nevertheless, every member of the school was full of school spirit.

The showcase of the power of perseverance and sportsmanship of each NTSIS student is on full display here, from participants to the audience. Each played their role with all their might on that Friday afternoon.

In NTSIS, swimming is one of the more unique courses which students learn much value from. An important lifeskill to acquire, NTSIS believes that with exposure to different sporting activities, this will stimulate students’ interest in sports and healthy lifestyle and also provide a different avenue of exploration.
