Ms. Kwek

Academic Coordinator

Ms Kwek graduated with Masters in Education from Nanyang Technological University (NTU). Awarded with a Teaching Award from the Ministry of Education of Singapore, Ms Kwek has attained her Bachelor of Arts (with Merit) from National University of Singapore (NUS) as well as a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education from National Institute of Education (NIE). Before joining NTSIS, Ms Kwek has been teaching English Language, English Literature and Humanities for the past 15 years in government and independent schools, including Raffles Institution, in Singapore. Other than rich classroom experience in teaching students with diverse abilities, Ms Kwek had also been a subject head, head of internal examination, cooperating teacher as well as teacher leader in various professional development groups over the years.

Ms. Arfa’sha

Primary I-Science Coordinator

Ms Arfa’sha graduated from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) with a Bachelor of Arts (Education) (Sec) with Honours as well as a Diploma in Education with credit. Awarded with a Teaching Training Award from Ministry of Education (MOE), Ms Arfa’sha has always been an excellent student who is fully sponsored for her education. She has been teaching for 10 years in various government schools in Singapore and was also a level coordinator for discipline. She is an engaging teacher who is always full of ideas on how to engage her student in her lessons.

Ms. Petra

Graduated with a Bachelor of Science with Honors (Merit) in Chemistry from National University of Singapore (NUS), Ms Petra has also done very well in her ‘O’ and ‘A’ levels scoring more than 6 distinctions. She is a conscientious teacher with about 5 years of experience in the teaching of mathematics and chemistry to high school students. She believes strongly that teachers should create an environment where students will take responsibility and initiative for their own learning.

Ms. Yuki

With excellent results in both ‘O’ and ‘A’ levels, Ms Yuki has been educated in Singapore and has experienced the benefits of an education endorsed by Cambridge. She then attained an Honours degree in Material Science from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and has been working in educational institutions in both Singapore and China since she graduated. She is a charismatic teacher who manage to win the hearts of all her students. Ms Yuki believes that as long as the student is willing to work hard, he/she will be able to achieve the results they will be proud of.

Mr. Wang

With an Honours degree in Materials Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Mr Wang had been deeply impacted by his education in Singapore. He had scored a number of distinctions during ‘O’ and ‘A’ levels and had won a place to study for a degree in NTU. He is a teacher who managed to build good rapport with his students. Mr Wang has a deep desire for his students to excel and is willing to push them to get the best results they can get.

Mr. Winston

With straight distinctions in his ‘A’ levels, Mr Winston entered and graduated from Imperial College London with a Bachelor of Science (With Honors) degree. Mr Winston had studied in and graduated from Raffles Institution which is the top secondary and high school in Singapore. No subject is difficult for him to master and to teach, and Mr Winston is eager to share his content knowledge and studying methods with his students. A confident problem solver, Mr Winston believes there is always an answer to every question and his joy comes from helping students find the answers.

Ms. Janice

Ms Janice graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (with Honors) in English Language from National University of Singapore (NUS). Her excellent result means that she attend NUS with a Teaching Award from Ministry of Education Singapore. She also has a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from National Institute of Education (NIE/NTU) with a focus in teaching of English Language and Literature. Ms Janice has always been passionate about teaching and has been rewarded by scholarships and accolades along the way. Ms Janice has been teaching for 10 years in government schools in Singapore and Japan, including Victoria School which is an elite government boys’ school in Singapore. Fluent in English and Chinese, Ms Janice believes that teaching is a passion and not just a profession.
