On the 10th of May, Xu Xuechun, an NTSIS Y4 student, participated in the “The Motherland in My Heart” art performance held by the Nantong Economic & Technological Development Area Caring for the Next Generation Working Committee.

The show fully exhibited 70 years of glorious history, great achievements and valuable experience since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, especially since the Reform and Opening. It showcased the all-rounded and groundbreaking historical achievements of the party and state since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, as well as deep and fundamental historical changes that have taken place. The lively programs also presented the tremendous changes in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Zone since the Reform.

Xu Xuechun read  “I am proud to be a Chinese” in fluent Chinese and English. She was exemplary in her delivery and received accolades from all the judges and audience. In the end, she won the award for excellence for her performance.
